David is a Partner in Deloitte Forensic responsible for the co-ordination and management of our Forensic Technology services. David has more than 26 years experience in computer forensics, technology security and risk consulting, computer and fraud investigation.
David’s previous experience includes roles as the national leader of Deloitte’s e-Business and network security consulting practice, the Head of Risk Management, Systems and Security for a global smart card based electronic cash scheme and a 20 year career with Victoria Police, during which he founded and managed the Computer Crime & Forensic Investigation function for 10 years after an earlier specialisation in large scale commercial, banking and government fraud investigation.
David has extensive experience in computer forensic investigation which has included leading a number Australia’s early computer crime prosecutions and more recently the provision of computer investigation support and expert evidence in large scale corporate and regulatory investigations and copyright litigations. He also has extensive experience in the security design, review and testing of Internet and corporate network system risks and controls.
