Rod has recently joined Deloitte as the Lead Partner for the Insight Solutions team. Before joining Deloitte, Rod held the position of Partner/ Vice President leading the Business Analytics and Optimisation practice at IBM Global Business Services. Rod has also held leadership positions in IBM Global Business Services as Head of Financial Services, Strategy Leader and Head of CRM for Asia Pacific and A/NZ.

Previous to his role in IBM, Rod was a Partner in PwC where he led the Asia Pacific CRM practice and supported the Global CRM Practice in the analytical marketing domain. Rod joined PwC from his role at DoubleClick (now a division of Google) where he was the A/NZ Managing Director.

Prior to DoubleClick Rod held the position of Vice President and General Manager for Customer Management Solutions at NCR/ Teradata where he held responsibility for Sales, Consulting and R&D for the Financial Services Industry Globally. This role was based in the UK.

Skills and expertise

Rod has enjoyed his participation in the successful growth and management of various business models and cultures. Rod’s scope of roles has encompassed leading large diverse groups, smaller creative groups and multi-dimensional business responsibilities.

Experience includes P&L responsibility, strategy, programme delivery, marketing, sales, R&D and general management across multiple geographic locations.

This experience has encompassed services, digital media and infrastructure content. Rod has worked with clients across the globe including Europe, Asia and the US. He believes in creating work environments that are fun as well as successful.
