Deloitte partners John Greig and Nicholas Harwood were appointed Receivers and Managers of the unlisted First Capital Securities Limited on 21 July 2008.
First Capital Securities Ltd specialised in the active investment management of property and mortgage assets and was a specialist financier of residential, commercial and industrial property development and construction projects. The major asset of the company was the $16 million loan book which was partly secured by property mortgages over developments in Queensland, New South Wales and New Zealand.
