In 2009, online has become mainstream for most businesses, evolving into the primary channel for interacting and transacting with customers, suppliers and employees. With this in mind, we have taken the next step with the Eclipse brand to reflect Deloitte’s focus on the online space. On 1 July 2009, Eclipse became a core part of Deloitte’s Consulting Technology Practice, and will now be known as the Online practice.
While the Eclipse brand no longer exists, the same talented team will continue to flourish within Deloitte. Respected in the online community for their award-winning creative ideas, Deloitte’s Online practice will continue to design, build and deliver new business capabilities such as web-based applications incorporating new media and technology.
