Deloitte and Sydney Opera House

Deloitte has become Presenting Partner of the Sydney Opera House’s Ideas at the House program as part of a new collaboration. Ideas at the House is the Sydney Opera House’s public lecture series, which includes the Festival of Dangerous Ideas in November 2013. Deloitte will support the year-long program, which is Sydney's most varied ideas festival, featuring high-profile speakers on culture, literature, entertainment, politics, science, technology and other topics from around the world.

Arguably one of the most recognisable images of the modern world, the Sydney Opera House’s creation was symbolic of the long term, visionary and courageous actions needed to help shape a better and more prosperous Australia. Taking advantage of Australia’s potential and aligning it with global opportunity is the premise at the heart of Deloitte’s series Building the Lucky Country which examines the big issues shaping our nation’s future.  

The Sydney Opera House’s 40th Anniversary in October 2013 marks the beginning of a decade of renewal to safeguard it for future generations of artists, audiences and visitors. As part of the agreement, Deloitte will help the Sydney Opera House realise its potential and future value in the digital age.
