Lead. Innovate. Excel: Nominations open for the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Australia 2010 program

6 August 2010: Professional services firm Deloitte, announced today that nominations are now open for Australia’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50 2010 program.

Now in its tenth year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Australia 2010 is a program that continues to recognise and profile Australian fast growing technology companies, public or private, who have achieved the fastest rates of annual revenue growth (based on percentage revenue growth over the last three years).

Previous winners have included Emantra, a private cloud computing internet service provider, who had record revenue growth of 1756.3% and ComTel Corporation Limited in 2008 with outstanding revenue growth of 1302% over the previous three year.

Joshua Tanchel, Deloitte Private Partner and leader of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Program says “this program rewards technology companies who have shown resilience and recorded high revenue growth. We strive to recognise companies which have adopted innovative techniques to build their business and continue to grow even when market conditions are difficult.”

The aim of the Technology Fast 50 program is to recognise and raise the profile of technology companies that have shown sustained growth over the last three years. The winners, who are to be announced in November, receive exposure and recognition from media and industry colleagues and also become part of an exclusive network of high performing technology companies.

The program is supported by forums, events, newsletters and seminars- available to all entrants - which will help businesses grow. Winners are also automatically entered in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2010 program and if selected these companies are recognised across the Asia Pacific region for their excellence in growth.

“The major challenges for many technology companies are accessing finance, meeting changing customer needs and retaining top talent. This program will give the winners access to new ideas through invaluable networking opportunities, increased media profile as well as access to industry experts who are leaders in the technology industry,” added Mr Tanchel.

The Deloitte Australia Technology Fast 50 is part of a global program run in parallel with the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, Germany, Central Europe, Israel, South Africa, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

The program includes all related industry sectors; communications, software, semiconductors, components and electronics, life sciences, internet and computer peripherals.
