Professional services firm Deloitte, announced today that nominations are now open for Australia’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50 2009 program.
Now in its ninth year, the program provides Australia’s fastest growing technology companies with the opportunity to be recognised as one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the country. Previous winners, whose revenues are measured over three years, have included ComTel Corporation Limited in 2008 with outstanding revenue growth of 1302% over the previous three years and TigerSpike Pty Limited with revenue growth of 912%.
Deloitte is also offering the ‘Rising Star’ award, run in conjunction with the Deloitte Technology Fast 50. For those companies who do not qualify for the Technology Fast 50 program on the basis of financial or incorporation criteria, the ‘Rising Star’ award recognises the achievements of high quality, exciting and innovative companies with strong growth potential.
The aim of the Technology Fast 50 program is to recognise and raise the profile of technology companies that have shown sustained growth over the last three years. The winners, who are to be announced in November, become part of an exclusive network of high performing technology companies. Winners are automatically entered in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2009 program and if selected these companies are recognised across the Asia Pacific region for their excellence in growth.
Joshua Tanchel, Deloitte Private Partner and leader of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Program says “this program is about rewarding local high performance companies which, in a difficult climate, have managed to create sustained impressive growth driven by innovative technology and fresh ideas.
“Technology companies face constant challenges including accessing finance to grow, developing new technologies and innovations to meet changing customer needs, retaining talented people, coping with compliance burdens and entering new market segments and/or expanding their customer base in existing market segments. This program will give the winners increased media profile, invaluable networking opportunities with other fast growing technology companies and access to industry experts who are leaders in shaping the new economy.”
