Deloitte joins forces with AgreonDOWNLOAD
3 December 2010: Professional services firm Deloitte, announced today that the lead partner and staff of specialist Identity Management Business, Agreon has joined Deloitte Risk Services’ security and resilience consulting business.
Commenting on the union, Deloitte National Security & Resilience partner Tommy Viljoen said, “Our experience with clients shows that identity and access management, with a focus on information security, is a rapidly growing area. As organisations face increasing fraud and cyber security attacks, Deloitte has responded by growing its specialist group of security professionals.

“This union increases the size of our security business and also provides us with increased capability in our overall security offering to the market. This is important given the rapid uptake by Australian companies of new technologies, such as Cloud and Mobile Computing that allow for greater mobility and flexibility in the workforce and with IT solutions,” said Mr Viljoen.
“This union also supports our drive to continually extend and deploy our innovative solutions to the market such as GreenID, our online verification system and Bamboo, our crisis management Smartphone application that puts real-time control in the hands of our clients. These security and resilience solutions are heavily influenced by changing workforce dynamics as well as changes to actual roles within the workforce,” said Mr Viljoen.
“Our security business now increases from 54 people to 65 people nationally. The eleven people coming from Agreon will be based in Sydney and will work nationally,” concluded Mr Viljoen.
