Deloitte Risk Services appoints new partner in recognition of continued growthDOWNLOAD
3 September 2010: Professional services firm Deloitte has announced the appointment of a new partner, Mr Rody Posthuma who previously worked at Ernst &Young (E&Y). He will join Deloitte’s Risk Consulting team focusing on the provision of risk consulting services to Australia’s largest financial institutions.
Commenting on this new appointment, Deloitte Risk Services Managing Partner, Ron Loborec said “this is a significant appointment and continues to demonstrate the growth that the Deloitte Risk Services group has experienced. Risk permeates many parts of a client’s business, and Rody joining the Risk Consulting team will continue the trend of Deloitte providing innovative risk solutions to our financial services clients.”
Mr Posthuma started his career as a financial auditor in the Netherlands and in the late nineties moved to Sydney to take on various roles in the risk consulting practice of E&Y where he assisted financial service clients across projects including Risk Management, Project Assurance, Regulatory compliance and IT Governance.
“Rody has very relevant experience in advising clients and leading risk projects across a number of Deloitte’s key financial services clients. We felt Rody’s experience and attitude was a perfect fit with our rapidly growing Risk Consulting business,” added Mr Loborec.
Rody will join another 3 new partners in Deloitte’s Sydney based Risk Services team; Des Silberberg (Financial Institution Internal Audit leader), Jaimee Thompson (regulatory compliance) and Andi Csontos (Occupational Health & Safety and Fatigue Management sector leader).
