Energy Security 2010-20: Overcoming investor uncertainty in power generation
Electricity supply is regarded as an essential service, however the Australian electricity generation sector has entered a period of unprecedented uncertainty after 14 years of stable business operating in a relatively constant investment climate.

In this paper, we investigate the investment challenges of base load generation, the attractiveness, risk and likely returns of generation types, and the need for the reduction of uncertainty through policy clarity.
