Deloitte named a global leader in Human Capital by Kennedy

22 May 2013: Professional services firm Deloitte has been named a global leader, based on capabilities, by Kennedy in its Human Capital Strategy Consulting report. Deloitte achieved leading positioning based on the depth and breadth of its Human Capital strategy consulting services.

This award coincides with Deloitte recently being named a global leader in Change Management by Kennedy in its Change Management Consulting Market Report and a leader in global financial services consulting.

Kennedy reports cover global market trends and issues and evaluate market players. Its evaluation is based primarily on the breadth and depth of service capabilities, client satisfaction, and market eminence.

Nicky Wakefield, Deloitte Consulting’s National Leader of Human Capital, believes “Australian businesses face ever increasing complexity and challenge, which increases the margin for error when managing change and inflates the importance of leading and developing exceptional talent.

“In Australia, organisations are faced with tough challenges and are continually pushed to make change happen faster, and grow and develop talent that are capable of excelling in this complex landscape.

“Leadership and the quality of talent inside an organisation will be the key competitive differentiator for businesses moving forward,” said Ms Wakefield.

Key findings of Kennedy’s Human Capital Strategy Consulting report:

  • At the leadership level, Deloitte’s As One methodology provides executives with an archetype-driven ‘playbook’ for leading change.
  • Deloitte also invests heavily in human capital analytics and is continually refining its capability to drive forward-looking insights from workforce planning data and analytics.
  • Deloitte is adept at bringing the firm’s full capabilities in strategy, operations management, technology and advisory consulting.
  • Deloitte is investing heavily in the development of predictive analytics tools for scenario modelling, strategic workforce planning, and talent management.

“The best organisations will make talent and leadership their top priorities and it will pay dividends,” added Ms Wakefield.
