Franco is our lead utility partner and has been involved in advisory roles across most of Australia's utility sector over the last twenty years.
He has led numerous projects involved in strategic sourcing, cost reduction, revenue growth, M&A transactions and ICT transformation. He has detailed understanding of the utility industry - from asset management to service delivery and related supply chain. Franco is well known to the Industry and has developed Smart Grid strategy papers and customer service strategies for numerous clients. He is often sought after for his innovative and pragmatic approach to problem solving and his ability to combine detailed analysis with strategic intent.
In addition to the utility sector, Franco has provided operations improvement and strategic advisory services in the mining, telecommunications and finance sector. He developed the iron ore strategy and expansion plans for the world’s largest mining company in addition to fee income strategies for the Telcocommunications sector.
He also held CEO and CIO roles pioneering off-shoring co-sourcing models in Australia, delivering major programmes of work to media, utility and telecommunications clients and has a deep understanding of service delivery frameworks.
Prior to Deloitte, Franco worked at AT Kearney and McKinsey & Company.
