Simon is the leader of Deloitte’s Tasmanian Energy, Water and Resource Industry group and is a partner in Deloitte Private. He has over 20 years professional services experience and specialises in the provision of services to the Government. He is also responsible for the Government Group and Aquaculture industry in Tasmania.
Simon’s has extensive experience in matters relating to business advisory, audit, administration, financing and taxation within the public and private sectors. Among his clients are major government enterprises, departments and agencies, as well as clients in the professional services, energy, water, resources and aquaculture industries.
Simon has had extensive involvement in the provision of taxation advice, particularly in the fields of taxation of fixed assets and the inter-relationship with asset revaluations. He is adept at advising on corporate restructurings, transaction structuring and due diligence, financial modelling, business and asset valuations, and income, capital gains and indirect tax.
Simon is a Registered Tax Agent and a Member of Financial Services Institute of Australia.
