Chief Operating Officer
Keith is the Chief Operating Officer of Deloitte’s Australian firm. He took on this role in 2001, and has overseen the growth of the firm from $400 million revenue to $1.1billion. Aside from the day to day management of the firm, Keith established and leads the firm’s industry specialisation program, and is responsible for the firm’s risk and governance operations. Under Keith’s leadership, a new operating model was implemented, with significant productivity and profitability improvements.
Keith represents the Australian member firm on the DTTL Global Board, including the Governance and Risk committees. He was also until recently a member of the Asia Pacific Leadership group.
Keith has been with Deloitte for 39 years in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Prior to his role as COO, Keith was the Lead Partner of the Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency service line. He concurrently held the title of Leader of Asia Pacific Restructuring Services. Keith’s special expertise was in the restructuring and turnaround of large complex organisations.
Currently, Keith acts as advisory partner to a number of firm clients including Westpac Banking Corporation. The major clients Keith has served previously were predominantly financial services companies including Australian and New Zealand Banking Group, National Australia Bank, and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Keith has completed a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of the Institute Chartered Accountants in Australia and also at the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia. He is a registered Company Auditor, Liquidator and Taxation Agent.
Keith lives in Sydney with his wife Fiona, and their two daughters.
