In January and February 2009, 99 Deloittians from Sydney and Melbourne participated in a Red Cross Blood Drive coordinated by our Summer Vacationers and donated 49,500 mls of blood.
Each service line was set a target for blood donors, with a goal of signing up 38 donors who were willing to give up one hour of their time. Working in a tight timeframe meant they had to work quickly and efficiently. The response was so great, extra ‘giving’ spots had to be created.
