From sunrise to sunrise - the Oxfam trek |

The Melbourne 100km Oxfam Trailwalker event involved 650 teams of four walking from Jells Park, Wheelers Hill, through the rugged Dandenong Ranges, to Wesburn Park in the Yarra Valley.
Deloitte entered a record 20 teams in the gruelling event, and 18 of those teams finished. Some of the more colourful names for the Deloitte Teams were ‘Don’t stop Deloittians’, the 'Deloitterers 2008' and the 'Deloitte D-BAGS'.
Not only did the Deloitte teams shine in participation, but in fundraising too. The Deloitte teams have so far raised more than $55,000 for Oxfam - and in addition to this The Deloitte Foundation contributed $15,000 nationally.
Oxfam Trailwalker is a 100km endurance walk through the Australian bush. This event is used to raise money for Oxfam Australia, who works to fight poverty and injustice in 26 countries around the world, including Indigenous Australia. The Sydney walk will be happening on the 29th of August, so please visit Oxfam Trailwalker Sydney and type 'Deloitte' as the team name to donate to one of the Deloitte teams.
