East Africa Drought Appeal 2011
In 2011 the people of Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya faced the worst drought the region has seen in 60 years, Inclusive of dollar-matching Deloitte people collectively raised $75,000.
This amount has assisted Oxfam to reach three million people with clean water, food and basic sanitation.
Japan and Christchurch 2011
Deloitte raised a collective $146,685 for the disaster in Japan and, as a firm, we have also donated $50,000 to alleviate the suffering in Christchurch. These donations will assist Red Cross in providing vital medical care, personal support to affected people, emergency kits and blankets.
Australian floods appeal 2011
The Deloitte Foundation launched its response to the Queensland floods and matched dollar for dollar donations to the emergency relief fund up to $60,000 for donations.
