Cindy Hook is a senior partner with Deloitte and leader of the NSW Assurance & Advisory practice. Prior to this she was a senior audit partner in the US Deloitte firm and has 20 years’ professional experience specialising in the Life Sciences & Health Care sector (LS&HC).
In the US Cindy’s clients included publically held companies as well as not-for-profit and government organisations. She is experienced in US Securities and Exchange Commission rules as well as international accounting and reporting requirements.
Cindy has worked with large, multinational clients and will focus on growing the NSW practice’s client base of large listed companies. She will mentor new A&A partners, and help drive Deloitte’s Inspiring Women program.
In 1986, Cindy graduated from Miami University, Ohio with a degree in Business Administration – Accounting, and joined Deloitte in San Francisco later that year. She is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Health Care Financial Management Association, National Principles and Practices Board.
Cindy’s reputation and experience in the LS&HC sector brings an added level of expertise to the A&A industry group.
