Alyson is a partner in the Deloitte corporate and international tax team in Sydney. Alyson has over 15 years experience advising clients in this area. In addition to Alyson’s extensive Australian experience, Alyson also has experience working in the international tax groups of Deloitte’s London and Dublin offices and working for a major London law firm.
Alyson’s primary areas of expertise are Australian international and corporate tax. Alyson has developed a broad range of experience over 15 years covering a number of industry sectors. Alyson’s transactional experience includes:

advising multinationals on both inbound and outbound cross border transactions including tax effective cross border financing and profit extraction strategies, the application of double tax treaties, the applicability of Australia’s controlled foreign company and foreign investment fund rules and potential foreign tax issues

advising multinationals on tax aligned supply chain strategies in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region

provision of international tax structuring advice and due diligence services in relation to significant M&A and private equity transactions.
Alyson is also a qualified solicitor who is admitted to practise in NSW, England & Wales and Ireland.
