The contribution of women to the economic development has significantly increased year after year. The Deloitte statistics show that those companies with high presence of women in leadership position have high productivity rate and have 50% more benefits from the economies of scales than those companies who has no gender diversification among their leaders. This is one of the reasons why during all these years Deloitte worldwide is investing in such initiatives because the right investment in women and gender balance among leadership have always played a key role in economic and organizational success of a company.
Deloitte Albania has launched "AJO" initiative (the Albanian word for SHE) dedicated to successful women in their professional career. More than 35 business women gathered in this first event, organized at Vila Alehandro, in Tirana
This first meeting was moderated by Deloitte "AJO" initiative team leaded by Mrs. Nuriona Berdica (Sokoli, Director of Audit&Advisory of Deloitte Albania, and our distinguished guests Mrs. Greta Minxhozi, Vice Director of World Bank in Albania, Mrs.Elivar Golemi, General Inspector at Bank of Albania, Mrs. Nora Cashku, Pedagogue dhe Distinguished pianist and Mrs.Arlinda Dudaj, Pedagogue and Director of “Dudaj” publishing house.
