History Overview
In October 1996 the Albanian practice of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu opened its offices in Tirana. Starting with audit services the firm has enjoyed enormous growth. By 2012 the Tirana office had grown to more than 45 professional and 1 Albanian nationality partner, offering Audit, Financial Advisory Services, Enterprise Risk Services, Tax Services and Consulting Services.
In 2001 Deloitte expanded also in Kosova opening its office in Pristina. Today we have there a dedicated team of more than in Tax and Audit services.
Deloitte in both Albania & Kosova countries employs over 55 professionals in 2 offices providing professional services to all our client whenever they are.

Deloitte was engaged in providing Transaction Advisory Services to CEZ for the acquisition of OSSH (Albanian DSO). |

Deloitte was engaged by the Kosova Government with regards to incorporation of KEK, UNMIK Railways, and Two District Heating Termokos and Gjakova |
| 2002- 2004 |
Deloitte was engaged by the Ministry of Economy, Government of Albania, to provide advisory services in connection with the granting of concession contract (BOOT) for the new Tirana-Rinas Airport Passenger Terminal and other infrastructure facilities. |
| 1999-2000 | Privatisation of four non-strategic companies (i.e. “Ajka” diary, “Birra Tirana” brewery, “Profarma” pharmaceutical production, “Kantina Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeu” distillery & winery) |
