The American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) has honored Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu with a prestigious BEST Award for 2009. In the words of ASTD, the award recognizes organizations that “leverage the learning function as a strategic business tool to achieve enterprise-wide success; [those that] create, support, and champion learning opportunities for results and a learning culture.”
An awards ceremony was held on October 1 in Washington, D.C. with Bill Pelster, national director, Talent Development, Deloitte Services LP; and Roger Wadsworth, partner Global Learning & Talent Development, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, along with several leaders of the Deloitte U.S. Talent Development team on hand to accept the award.
