Colorado Implements PEAKS Self Service Solution
The state of Colorado, with the assistance of Deloitte, implemented its Program Eligibility and Application Kit (PEAK) self-service system successfully on October 26, 2009. With this first release, citizens statewide are able to use the screening tool (Am I Eligible) to check if they are potentially eligible for Food, Cash and Medical Assistance.

 

Minnesota

NASCIO Selects Minnesota as Finalist
The National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) has selected Minnesota as a finalist for a 2009 Recognition Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Information Technology in State Government for their Unemployment Insurance Technology Initiative Project. Deloitte continues to assist Minnesota in achieving great results despite the difficult economic climate.

 

Pennsylvania

NASCIO Selects Pennsylvania as Finalist
The National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) has selected Pennsylvania’s Department of Public Welfare as a finalist for a 2009 Recognition Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Information Technology in State Government. Deloitte continues to assist Pennsylvania in achieving great results despite the difficult economic climate.

Wisconsin Implements Major BadgerCare Plus Expansion
Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services, with the assistance of Deloitte, utilized web self-service and call centers to successfully implement a Medicaid/S-CHIP program expansion to cover childless adults and the chronically uninsured.

Florida Continues Innovation in Customer Self-Service
Florida has dramatically reduced cost and improved service through impressive use of a worker-assisted, self-service model to apply to human service programs.

Both New York and Wisconsin have benefited from Deloitte’s assistance in developing and implementing self-service solutions.

New York CIO Dr. Daniel Chan Named New York State Public Sector CIO of the Year 
Daniel Chan, Ph.D., CIO of the New York Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, was recognized for his efforts in building a technology framework with the assistance of Deloitte.

 

Massachusetts

Massachusetts Virtual Gateway Wins 2008 Digital Achievement Award 
The Center for Digital Government awarded Massachusetts its 2008 Digital Government Achievement Award for efficient and effective delivery of services. The Gateway was developed with assistance from Deloitte.

 

Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania Recognized as National Leader in Child Support Enforcement 
For the third consecutive year, Pennsylvania has been recognized as a national leader for its child support enforcement efforts, and, for the second time, has been awarded the 2007 Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement's Commissioner's Award for High Performance. 

 

Florida

Florida Honored as Innovations in American Government Award Winner 
Florida was acknowledged for its dramatic improvements in how citizens receive public assistance benefits via solutions developed with the assistance of Deloitte.

 

California 

California Recognized for Advanced Cross Department Collaboration and Screening 
The Screening Information System (SIS) implemented by the California Department of Health Services (CDHS) with assistance from Deloitte is a critical cornerstone of California's prenatal and newborn screening program.
