P.J. DiStefano

P.J. DiStefano is the managing partner of the Milwaukee practice at Deloitte LLP. As managing partner, P.J. oversees four key business areas: Audit, Tax, Consulting, and Advisory Services and leads marketplace and community activities. Additionally, he is a member of Deloitte's Audit & Assurance Operating Committee, and serves large public power and utility and industrial companies as the lead client service partner and lead audit partner.

P.J. has more than 24 years of experience in public accounting. His range of experience includes performing external audits, advising his clients on process and control related matters, advising clients on complex accounting matters, and initial public offering readiness. P.J. has extensive experience with Securities and Exchange Commission requirements and has assisted his clients with several public financings.

P.J. graduated from Marquette University with a B.A. in Accounting and received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.   He is the Chairman of the Board of the Milwaukee Public Museum and a board member for Wisconsin Public Utility Institute and the Marquette University College of Business Administration.  He is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
