Martin Rowley
Partner, Tax
Martin Rowley is a Partner in Deloitte LLP’s US business tax group and head of the Jersey tax practice in the Channel Islands.
Dividing his time between London and Jersey, Martin advises on corporate and international tax matters for clients in a wide range of industries. Much of his work involves issues encountered in cross-border transactions and capital flows.
Martin regularly acts for private equity houses, real estate funds and sovereign financial institutions in the structuring, financing and execution of their investments, as well as for fund managers in the structuring of their portfolio investments, financings, earnings repatriation and disposals.
He is a regular speaker on international tax topics at conferences throughout Europe and at in-house and specialist seminars for clients and professional organisations.
Martin received his LLM in Taxation with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center in 1997, his JD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1993, and his BS in Business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1988.
