Issued 13 August 2013
Deloitte Ireland, the leading business advisory firm, is pleased to announce that it received the 2013 Ireland Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year award in the International Tax Review (ITR) European Tax Awards. This is the second consecutive year that the firm has been the recipient of this award.
The award is recognition of the quality of the services provided by the transfer pricing team. The team works with multinational companies advising on a broad range of issues including global documentation requirements, operating structures and pricing models.
Commenting on the win, Paul Reck, Head of Transfer Pricing at Deloitte Ireland said:
“To receive this award for the second consecutive year is testament to the hard work of our team and our commitment to client service. Multinational organisations are operating in an environment of unprecedented complexity and transfer pricing is now a leading risk management issue for global companies. The team here at Deloitte works with clients to help them reduce risks by aligning practical transfer pricing solutions with their overall business objectives. We are thrilled that this work has been recognised in this way.”
The Deloitte transfer pricing team comprises senior personnel from the tax team in Ireland, with extensive expertise not only in transfer pricing but also in international tax and indirect tax and customs, with a number of the team having worked in Deloitte offices in the US, UK, and in the firm’s Global Transfer Pricing Centre based in India. The team, which is part of the wider Deloitte Transfer Pricing team globally, has significant experience of working with multinational companies and indigenous Irish businesses with operations outside of Ireland both in relation to compliance issues and on the advisory front where transfer pricing has been used to assist clients to align tax efficiencies with their business model.
Deloitte member firms were the most successful organisation at the awards, winning 20 of the 73 awards presented. ITR European Tax Awards are given to firms that demonstrate examples of ground-breaking client work done in Europe between 1 January 2012 and 31 December 2012.
