Past collaborations: Deloitte and the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A)

The sponsorship

Deloitte and the Victoria & Albert teamed up between 2006 and 2007 to deliver a ground breaking exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci’s work. Entitled ‘Leonardo da Vinci: Experience, Experiment and Design’, the exhibition ran between 14 September 2006 – 7 January 2007 and was the first major exhibition of Da Vinci's work to appear in London for more than a decade. It offered an unrivalled insight into Leonardo's work using animation to bring his incredible theories to life.

Joint ventures

Deloitte sponsored the much talked about exhibition, which revealed the processes behind the thinking of one of the world's greatest and most creative minds. From the very beginnings of his career, Da Vinci was recognised for his unparalleled ability to think laterally across a range of disciplines. This exhibition associated the Deloitte brand with Leonardo's lateral thinking and innovative approach to problem solving, his insight, creativity and leadership.

Our people

The opportunities for our people to engage with and enjoy the arts were highly important. Our people benefitted from free access to the exhibition along with an information pack and complimentary entry for a guest, exclusive viewings including out-of-hours events, and gallery receptions offering exclusive yet informal opportunities to see the exhibition with colleagues. Employees were entitled to a discount at the V&A shop and excellent opportunities for networking with our clients.
