The partners of Deloitte own and control the firm. Most partners’ primary daily concerns lie with client services responsibilities. There is a robust and effective structure in place for the leadership and management of the firm. Management is the duty of the Executive Committee, while a Supervisory Board exercises an oversight function.

Chief Executive Officer
The CEO heads the Executive Committee (ExCo) and reports to the Supervisory Board every quarter. The CEO is elected for a four-year term and may serve a maximum of two terms. Together with the ExCo, the CEO defines the strategic course of the firm.

Executive Committee
The ExCo is in charge of managing and expanding the firm, while sharing some responsibilities with the Business Unit (BU) management committees, the Supervisory Board and the partners as a whole. Appointed by the CEO, the ExCo members also serve four-year terms.
