Women in the boardroom

A global perspective

This is the seventh edition of the Deloitte Global Boardroom Program’s Women in the Boardroom report. It shows progress towards increasing the number of women on corporate boards. At the current growth rate of women in the boardroom, parity would be achieved in 2045, while this seems slow, it’s a slight acceleration on our last predication which was set for parity in 2052.

Our findings from this report show that diversity at the highest leadership levels really matters, with the most diverse boards still tending to be found at companies led by women at the executive or board level.

The conversation of women in the boardroom will continue to be discussed for the years to come, even if the pace of change may seem slow. This report breaks down our findings on a global and local level.
