On December 27, 2022, the European Commission published a new regulatory framework Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) focused on strengthening the information and communication technology security of financial entities. Next to TIBER-EU – a European framework for threat intelligence-based ethical red-teaming published in 2018 – it thus represents another stream of efforts to enhance the cyber resilience of the financial sector in the European Union.
