Horizon Conference 2012 - Luxembourg financial services

For the second time after its launch in 2011, Deloitte Luxembourg and Thomson Reuters have organised a conference dedicated to the outlook of the financial services industry in Luxembourg.

We were honoured that Mr Luc Frieden, Luxembourg's Minister of Finance, had kindly agreed to deliver the opening speech.
This year’s conference has revolved around the future of the Luxembourg marketplace and its industry:
- Discussing and sharing ideas on potential trends and priorities for Luxembourg
- Analysing key technical and commercial aspects impacting the industry
- Sharing visions on potential future business models
- Highlighting some key regulatory changes and developments
The conference was a one-day event, consisting of multiple plenary sessions, bringing together international experts and local players who discussed practical issues and shared their vision of the future.
