Eimear is a partner in the Financial Services Group of Deloitte in Dublin, specialising in the provision of assurance and advisory services to clients in the insurance sector.
Eimear has extensive experience of working with insurance and reinsurance entities across the life and non-life sectors. Her clients range from significant global subsidiaries to smaller domestic players. She has supported audit clients on navigating a range of issues including large scale acquisitions, accounting policy changes, and new system implementations. Eimear is also very familiar with managing large engagements with complex branch structures, which is a feature of many of her portfolio of clients. Eimear is the IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts country lead, and is part of the EMEA-wide Group which is focused on this topic. She has delivered on IFRS 17 readiness review projects in the lead up to full implementation and is part of the team delivering on an IFRS 17 implementation programmes.
