2008 CE Top 500 rankings report

The Central Europe (CE) Top 500 is a ranking compiled by Deloitte Central Europe of the 500 largest companies in the region. The rankings are based upon publicly available information. Read more about the methodology used in compiling the report. 

Deloitte prepared the CE Top 500 list second time this year, which stretches from the Adriatic to the Baltic and the Black Sea and contains a raft of countries, all of which have either already joined the European Union or are at various stages of the EU accession process.
The CE Top 500 ranking charts the fortunes of the largest 500 companies in the region by revenue, profits, employment and capitalisation.
This year 60 Hungarain companies were ranked among the biggest Central and Eastern European firms.
The CE Top 500 also contains charts showing the largest companies in Banking, Insurance, Construction, Energy and Resources, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals and Technology, Media and Telecommunications.
