Patrick leads the tax management consulting team for Deloitte Africa Tax & Legal. He was previously a business tax (corporate income tax) partner for nearly 20 years and has been with Deloitte since he started articles in 1990. Patrick is also the Clients & Industries Leader for Africa Tax & Legal, and has led various industry teams for the practice including Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT), chemicals and manufacturing. Having spent many years with a significant focus on transformation, learning and various people related roles, he is now primarily focused on business growth and delivery to clients. Patrick developed the Deloitte Africa Tax Risk Map and is passionate about helping corporates to improve their management and governance of, and strategies for, the tax function. He leads the Tax Strategy and Operations offering with a focus on tax risk management and tax function effectiveness.
