The International Debt Advisory Group is an integral part of the Deloitte Corporate Finance practice and provides independent advice and world class execution resource to a wide range of public and private companies and institutional borrowers.

We provide independent advice across the full spectrum of the debt markets on projects in the UK, continental Europe including central and eastern europe and Russia, Asia, North America and Canada and South Africa. Our advice ranges from strategic analysis of the optimum capital structure and the available sources of finance through to the provision of highly experienced execution resource.

Where appropriate, the Debt Advisory team will involve other service lines within Deloitte including reorganisation services, transaction services, specialised finance, corporate finance advisory, forensic and dispute services, tax, consulting.

Situations in which the team may be involved include:

• Strategic advice on the client's financing objectives
• Reviewing the optimum capital structure
• Assessing the available sources of finance
• Analysing the potential market counterparties
• Detailed financial modelling and credit assessment
• Rating Agency Advisory
• Currency, interest rate, commodity and credit default hedging
• Compilation and provision of detailed information to selected institutions
• Advice and execution resource to facilitate the approach to finance counterparties
• Negotiation of institutions' proposals and finalisation of detailed terms and conditions
• Coordination with the client's legal advisers to ensure successful completion

• Investment-grade syndicated bank facilities
• Leveraged finance - senior, second lien, PIK, quasi equity, acquisition finance, bridging
