Improving organisational performance through people

Organisations are under constant pressure to change and adapt. Deloitte Organisation and Change professionals guide and support organisations and help them develop and implement new organisational concepts. PDT framework
The People Dimension of Transformation (PDT) framework is our starting point for the successful implementation of (large-scale) transformations. The PDT framework addresses all ‘people-related’ challenges during transformations, such as:

  • People-related risk and impact management: recording employee-related risks and developing plans to deal with their impact.
  • Leadership alignment and stakeholder engagement: ensuring that management visibly manages the change and involves stakeholders.
  • Communications: increasing the involvement of employees (on all levels) and external stakeholders through clear communication.
  • Culture: bringing individual convictions into line with the values of the organisation; managing on the basis of desired behaviour. 
  • Organisation Design and Governance: designing the optimal organisational structure and exercising the accompanying control that is compatible with the new situation.
  • Talent requirements and HR Programs: helping organisations to distinguish and identify the right job market segments and trends.
  • Workforce transition: planning and implementing a smooth transition of people, which ensures that the organisation’s productivity remains up to standard.
  • Learning: providing knowledge, tools and training to enable employees to operate effectively in the new organisation.

Innovation and implementation
In addition to using this framework to address these problems (as part of a large-scale transformation project or as an autonomous project), our O&C professionals also help organisations to develop and implement innovative tools and methods in the area of:

  • Strategic Change: addressing the link between the organisation’s strategic objectives and the business case for the transformation; here, a link is created between the soft and hard sides of change.
  • Post Merger Integration: focusing on maximising the benefits of the merger, based on a methodological approach.
  • Behaviour Led Strategy Execution: a methodology that helps organisations to translate strategic objectives and intentions into the execution of daily tasks and the behaviour of employees on all levels of the organisation.
