Toronto, May 4, 2005 – Hunjan International Inc., Hunjan Moulded Products Ltd., Hunjan Tools & Mould Ltd. and Hunjan Holdings Ltd. (the “Hunjan Group”) today received a stay Order from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (“CCAA”). Deloitte & Touche Inc. (the “Monitor”) is the Court appointed monitor under the CCAA. The Order provides for a Stay Period starting from the May 4, 2005 date of the Order, during which time all creditor claims (e.g. accounts payable) and any proceedings against the Company are frozen and suspended. During the Stay Period, creditors are restrained from asserting, enforcing or exercising any right, including the right of set-off, against the Company or its property. It is the intention of the Hunjan Group to carry on business during the Stay Period and to honour all future obligations on a current basis. The Hunjan Group’s United States subsidiaries have not made any filings for protection and will continue to carry on business in the ordinary course. Making claims
Creditors are not required to file a proof of claim at this time. A proof of claim will be mailed to each creditor with a copy of the plan once the Hunjan Group and the Monitor have finalized it. A copy of the proof of claim form will be posted on this site when the plan has been provided to the creditors. Additional information
