The Tourism Hospitality and Leisure Industry is going through an unprecedented period of change. Organisations working within the industry are being faced with increasingly complex issues on branding, operational excellence, asset ownership, emerging technologies and growth. Since September 11, 2001, the industry has bounced back and organisations are concentrating once more on their strategies for growth in a marketplace that has been defined for years by its increasing levels of customer demand.
According to the World Travel and Tourism Council, Tourism Hospitality and Leisure is the world’s largest industry, accounting for almost 11 percent of world GDP. As consumer confidence in travel safety continues to return, the industry can expect to grow faster than many other industries. Indeed, this growth is expected to total 3.6 percent per annum in real terms in the period 2001–2011. Our Tourism, Hospitality & Leisure practice sees the industry's current challenges as opportunities and is well positioned to assist consumer business companies with such opportunities.
