  • 2008 Web Globalization Report - Best Professional Services website (February 2008)
    Deloitte.com rated best professional services website for the fifth consecutive year, extending its lead over competitors and moving up to be ranked 11th best website in the world.

  • West Australia Business and the Arts Partnership Award (October 2007)
    This award recognised Deloitte’s sponsorship of the Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF) as being the most outstanding first-time partnership. The award was presented for a true and innovative partnership with Deloitte contributing in-kind consulting support to PIAF in the form of a five year business plan.

  • Human Resources Magazine Awards - Best employer branding strategy (September 2007) 
    This award recognises Deloitte's distinct and innovative employer branding strategy founded on the seven Signals which shape our culture and has enabled us to develop a compelling employee value proposition to recruit talent at all levels.

  • Employer of Choice for Women (February 2007)
    For the sixth year in a row, Deloitte is recognised as an Employer of Choice for Women.  The 'Employer of Choice for Women' citation was given by the office for Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency to 131 Australian companies only.  This citation is selected around six criteria including an inclusive culture as demonstrated by the CEO and the ability to improve outcomes for women and the business.

  • World's best securitisation accounting firm (January 2007)
    Deloitte has been named the 'Best Securitisation Accounting Firm' in the world for the ninth year in a row in the International Securitisation Report (ISR).

  • Accounting Services Firm of the Year (September 2006)
    Deloitte won the prestigious Accounting Services Firm of the Year - CFO Awards 2006. The judges highlighted the Australian firm's ability to demonstrate real innovation, the changing make-up of its client and partner base, and Deloitte's global decision to retain its consulting arm in 2002. CFO Magazine's profile of Deloitte 'In the Zone' (PDF 897KB) in its October Awards issue cites its integrated advisory capabilities and commitment to innovation as two key factors that edged Deloitte ahead of its competition for the award.

  • Human Resources Champion - CEO Award (2006)
    Giam Swiegers, Deloitte CEO, was awarded the Human Resources Champion - CEO Award at the Australian Human Resources Awards. This award recognised CEOs and MDs who have gone the extra mile and who drive successful HR strategy from the top.

  • Best Human Resources Director Award (2006)
    Alec Bashinsky, People and Performance leader, was awarded the Best Human Resources Director Award at the Australian Human Resources Awards. This award recognises those with a demonstrated track record of excellence in HR directorship.

  • The Best Global Transfer Pricing Team (2006)
    This is the 6th successive year our Global TP Team has been acknowledged as the world’s leading Transfer Pricing Team by Euromoney in their biannual survey of multi national corporations.

  • International Tax Review best brand in tax services (July 2006)
    Our tax expertise was recognised by the International Tax Review in 2006 as the best brand globally in tax services.

  • Human Resources Director of the Year (2006)
    The JML Australia Human Capital Leadership Awards are a celebration of Human Capital success, and seek to find and recognise Australia's outstanding leadership professionals. This year Deloitte's People & Performance partner, Alec Bashinsky, won the Human Resources Director the Year award recognising his outstanding people initiatives and strong leadership.

  • The leading Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Consultant in Q4 2005
    Ranked by Forrester Research, this is a significant endorsement of Deloitte’s multidisciplinary capabilities in this burgeoning market and is the first major ranking by any analyst of the business and risk consulting marketplace. Deloitte was rated as a “Leader” in ERM consulting, achieving the highest overall score in the evaluation.

  • Lawrence B. Sawyer Award from Internal Audit Institute (2005)
    Deloitte were one of three organisations who received the Lawrence B. Sawyer Award from the Board of Global Internal Audit Institute. The award recognises organisations and IIA National Affiliates for their outstanding achievement in the development, promotion and commitment to the Certified Internal Audit Program.

  • One of the Five Best HR Strategic Plans in Australia (2005)
    Deloitte’s 2005/6 people management plan judged as one of the Five Best HR Strategic Plans in Australia in the 2005 National Australia HR Awards organised by Human Resources magazine

  • Number one non-investment banking firm for global corporate reorganisation (2005)
    Deloitte has been named the #1 firm globally for its corporate reorganisation services in The Deal’s fourth-quarter 2005 bankruptcy league table.

  • EOWA Business Achievement Awards (September 2005)
    Giam Swiegers, CEO of professional services firm Deloitte, has been awarded the ‘Leading CEO for the Advancement of Women’ in the Australian Government’s EOWA Business Achievement Awards. Deloitte was the only big four accounting firm to make it through to the finals.
  • Deloitte the 'Most Innovative Firm' (March 2005)
    Deloitte is delighted to have been chosen by 6,500 clients as Australia's 'Most Innovative Firm' in professional services in the inaugural BRW - St George Client Choice Awards 2005. BRW’s recently commissioned survey focused on professional service quality in Australia and included all professional firm categories: accounting, law, engineering, consulting and architects.

  • EOWA Business Achievement Awards (November 2004)
    The highlight in these awards was to win the Judges’ Choice Business Achievement Award for the ‘Most Promising Person or Organisation for the Advancement of Women’.  This award was given to Deloitte CEO, Giam Swiegers, highlighting his executive leadership in this field and the organisation’s strategies to inspire women.  In addition Deloitte came in the final five in three of the seven categories of the award for:
    • Outstanding EEO practices for the advancement of women
    • Leading CEO for the Advancement of Women
    • Leading organisation for the advancement of women with an employee base greater than 500.

  • EOWA Business Achievement Awards (November 2004)
    Deloitte has received a special award in recognition of our efforts in creating an inspiring professional services firm for women. With an audience of 400 business leaders our CEO, Giam Swiegers, accepted this award, which highlights his executive leadership in the field of advancing and developing professional women.

  • Accounting Services Special Award, CFO Magazine Awards (August 2004)
    This award seeks to “recognise best practice that might serve as an example and an inspiration to others, and as a benchmark for the market”. Rated highly by corporate accountants and senior managers to whom CFO spoke, Deloitte was described as being “more prepared to sit down and talk with clients about how to add value and assist them”.

  • Eclipse-designed website for Holden rated the best automotive website in the world (February 2004)
    'ProfNet' - an independent Institute for Internet Marketing in Germany, and a consortium of Universities across the globe reviewed 1363 automotive websites and Holden (www.holden.com.au) rated number one by a clear margin.  ProfNet and the Universities put Holden first across 145 criteria including content, design, usability and interactivity by a clear margin.

  • Top Transfer Pricing Network in the World, Euromoney (2004)
    Deloitte was voted #1 globally by Euromoney's 2004 edition of the 'Expert Guide to the World's Leading Transfer Pricing Adviser.'
