Code of Conduct
What is a code of conduct and how do I draw one up?

A code of conduct is a written collection of values and the related rules of conduct: the standards. The code of conduct of an organization indicates how employees – of each section within the organization – should treat each other and how they should deal with certain incidents. A code of conduct is an elaboration of the current laws and regulations; it translates these laws and regulation into practical advice.

In our vision the drawing up of a code of conduct is the result of a process of increasing awareness within the organization. The development of the code (creating a clear understanding of the values and standards of the organization and testing these within the whole organization), rather than the code itself, is a step towards the final goal: an organization with integrity.

Based on our broad experience in this field, we guide you through the process of development, implementation and embedding the code of conduct. Dilemma training or the Integriteitkompas® may for example be part of our approach.
