The making of Deloitte Singapore

 

1967         Goh Kee Song, Steven Tan, Y.K. Kon and Alan Foo founded the firm which eventually came to be known as Goh Tan & Co
  
 1970Goh Tan & Co joined The SGV Group, then the largest professional services firm in Asia based in the Philippines. The firm continued to operate under the name, Goh Tan & Co: the consulting arm was known as the SGV-Goh Tan Pte Ltd
  
1976Medora Tong & Chow was established in Singapore by founding members, Jamshid Medora, David Tong and Henry Chow
  
1979Deloitte Haskins & Sells registered as a practicing firm in Singapore and operated through Goh Tan & Co
  
1984Goh Tan & Co and Deloitte Haskins & Sells combined their practices. At the same time, Medora, Tong & Chow was changed to Henry Chow & Associates
  
1985Henry Chow & Associates merged with Touche Ross & Co
  
1990Deloitte Haskins & Sells merged with Touche Ross to form Deloitte & Touche
  
2008Deloitte & Touche converted to Deloitte & Touche LLP
