OLYMPIC AIRWAYS
•In the period of 1996-1999 we acted, together with the London office, as advisors to the European Union concerning the degree of implementation of the Business Plan submitted by the airline to the EU. As part of this project we examined the financial & operational performance of the company in the period 1994-1997 and to what extent their future plans were feasible. This work was done twice for the EU as part of the permission that the Greek State required from the EU to provide further financial assistance to OLYMPIC AIRWAYS.
• In 1999 Deloitte Consulting was assigned by OLYMPIC AIRWAYS to establish a multi-tier Data Warehouse that would particularly focus on monitoring the expense side of the airline. A number of databases were unified and the Data Warehouse was developed using the OLAP (On Line Analytical Processing) technology. The EU advisor who inspected the work of Deloitte Consulting regarding this MIS project came up with an excellent report for the work done.
• As part of the privatisation of the airline, we were assigned by the Ministry of National Economy to value the airline (May 2001).

AEGEAN & CRONUS AIRLINES
AEGEAN & CRONUS are the two biggest private airline companies in Greece. We were requested in December 2000/January 2001 by the principal shareholders of the two airlines to carry out a study to evaluate the two airlines and recommend a share exchange ratio in the event of a merger. Our work was completed satisfactorily and the two airlines proceeded to announce a merger.

INTERJET
INTERJET is part of the INTERAMERICAN Group of companies and is involved in Business Aviation using executive aircraft and helicopters. We were assigned to value the company on behalf of its principal shareholder with a view to disposing part of the equity to another investor.

AXON AIRLINES
AXON AIRLINES is the newest and third private airline in Greece. The owner of the airline assigned Deloitte Consulting to support it to compile its strategic and Business Plan for the period 1999-2003. As part of this study we did a complete evaluation of the Greek airline industry, a swot analysis for the market and then proceeded to recommend the organisational structure and strategy of the new airline. The study was completed with the compilation of financial projections for the 5-year period.

GOLDAIR HANDLING
GOLDAIR HANDLING was the first private company to acquire a license after OLYMPIC AIRLINES HANDLING. Deloitte Consulting compiled the Business Plan of GOLDAIR HANDLING as part of its application to the new Athens Airport to acquire a license to operate at the new airport. The license included Freight & Mail Handling Services, Ramp & Baggage Handling Services, Inflight Catering and Open Access Ground Handling Services. The application was successful.

SWISSPORT
SWISSPORT is a joint venture between SwissAir and Greek interests concerning airport handling services (as above). Similar to the above described engagement, we were also appointed by SWISSPORT to put together its own Business Plan and its application to the new Athens Airport for the third handling license. The application was again successful.
