Internal Audit Services

What We Do

It's not just what we do, but how we do it, that makes the difference to our internal audit clients. Ours is an infinitely flexible process through which we offer a continuum of internal audit services from creating an internal audit function, to supporting and enhancing an existing operation with specialized resources, to outsourcing the function. This flexibility enables us to provide our clients with a customized solution with just the right amount and types of resources on an as-needed basis and to adjust those resources as priorities and opportunities change.

Our services are further described in the following areas:

• Set up of internal audit function
• Development of internal audit procedures manuals
• Internal audit training sessions
• Internal audit outsourcing / cosourcing
• Quality assurance reviews
• Internal audit reengineering
• Assurance and compliance
• Forensic services.

How We Do It

Each of the key stakeholders in risk and control is some way along their own line of evolution, from the cycle-based audit of the past, to the emerging enterprise risk assurance systems of today, to a possible future of management-led risk assurance and audit challenge. However, there is a problem when one stakeholder is at a different stage from the others, resulting in mismatched expectations, miscommunication, and less effective risk and control systems.

We have a proven and well-established methodology for risk-based auditing - used in organizations worldwide, ranging from large global corporations to the small local firm, and from international government agencies to municipalities.

Drawing from and refining best practices, this methodology provides an ability to quickly enable your internal audit function with the latest riskbased auditing approaches, supported by online training and methodology tools.

Each step in our methodology is supported by drill-down analysis to detailed methods and approaches with the use of our proprietary software Audit System/2.
