In October 2005, work began on e-DReaMS: an ‘electronic Document and Records Management System’, unique in our industry. Its objective is to make it easier to manage, share and store all varieties of documents.
e-DReaMS went live in 2006. Linked to Deloitte’s existing applications, e-DReaMS has helped to eliminate piles of paper and has standardised a number of procedures. Archiving is optimised, making it easier for people to locate and share documents. In addition to the obvious efficiency improvements, e-DReaMS has also reduced risk and improved our service quality.
e-DReaMs has been piloted in the Deloitte’s Tax practice and will be rolled out gradually in the other business units.
