Working with the Vlerick Management School, the Deloitte Consulting practice conducted a two-part innovation survey of Belgian companies. First, 5,000 companies received questions around the topic of “disruptive innovation” (see below). Part two consists of face-to-face interviews with people at 75 “dynamic market” companies. The respondents were chosen by Deloitte partners from among our clients and targets. What’s in it for Deloitte? The survey helps us position the firm as a strategic partner supported by Vlerick’s academic credentials. Innovation is an ideal context in which to start a strategic discussion with the client. In addition, when published in September or October, the survey results will boost visibility for the firm.
