Kitchener, January 7, 2008 – On January 7, 2008, pursuant to General Security Agreements of Certain Secured Creditors, Deloitte & Touche Inc. was appointed Receiver (the “Receiver”) of the assets, undertakings and properties of Beckermann Kitchens (2007) Inc. (the “Company”). On January 4, 2008, pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, the Company made an Assignment in Bankruptcy and Deloitte & Touche Inc. consented to act as Trustee in Bankruptcy of the Estate of the Company.
