We want Deloitte to be the winning team, not just with our clients but in the wider community too.  We provide opportunities for our people to enter teams into corporate challenge events; ranging from the national Three-Peaks Challenge to the Challenger World Cup.  Many events have a sporting theme, some involve overseas travel, and a number incorporate a charity fundraising element.

We encourage teams to enter events and apply for funding to help cover the cost of entry fees.  We also make contributions towards any specialist equipment needed and provide branded clothing appropriate to the event in order to highlight the Firm's support.

Each year we provide up to £100,000 to help our people make Deloitte the winning team and in 2006 the Firm supported more than 20 team applications involving around 1400
of our people.

Major 2006 events included: JP Morgan Chase Challenge (involving over 750 Deloitte runners), The Times Leadership Challenge and The Microsoft Challenge.

Additionally, we supported various cycling, running, 5-a-side and decathlon events plus the iconic 'Great Gorilla Run'!
