Challenges for Community Building in Korea and East Asia

As the fifth in its series, The Deloitte Global Forum in Seoul, Korea (Wednesday, 31 October 2007) will gather business leaders, government officials, scholars, and media from Korea and abroad. Especially, Asia Pacific Leadership Conference will take place at the same period so we expect the specific global forum with global senior leaders, various lead client service partners, and a diverse audience comprised by some of our largest local and regional clients and others. Guest Speaker, Hong-Koo Lee, former prime minister of Korea, will share his views and strategies for Challenges for Community Building in Korea and East Asia.

Guest Speaker
Mr. Lee was the Prime Minister of South Korea (1994-1995) under former President Kim Young-Sam. Before that he served twice as the deputy prime minister for unification dealing with the relation between the divided two Korean states. He was also a member of the Korean National Assembly and the chairman of then ruling New Korea Party. Mr. Lee is currently Chairman of the Board, The Seoul Forum for International Affairs, and the JoongAng Ilbo.
