The fact that 40% of respondents in a recent poll of the wealth management industry conducted by Deloitte have yet to finalise their unit pricing discretions’ policies and procedures, “was surprising” given the original deadline for compliance passed some ten months ago, according to Andy Young, Deloitte Unit Pricing specialist. Deloitte’s commitment to sustainable growth received an added boost this week with its Adelaide office planned relocation to its new ‘green’ headquarters at City Central complex at 11 Waymouth Street. Australian retailers remained steady in the Top 30 global retailers according to the annual Deloitte 2007 Global Powers of Retailing report. Australia is leading the charge in responding to the global problem of an ageing population, according to Deloitte’s Global Managing Director for the Public Sector, Greg Pellegrino. In February, the Deloitte WA Index of listed WA companies increased in total market capitalisation by 2% or $2.42 billion to $128 billion, despite the market correction which occurred.
