| Lima business centres are highly unsafe because of wireless connections to their corporate networks |

In order to measure the level of safety in the wireless connections of various business centres in Lima, Deloitte`s consulting division, through the Technological Risks area, made a study called “Mapa de la Inseguridad Wireless de Lima” (“Map of Wireless Unsafety in Lima”), that proves the existence of a high degree of vulnerability in these zones of Lima. Walker Villanueva, a Tax and Legal Advice Manager at Deloitte, wrote an article of opinion for “El Peruano” newspaper called The FTT is a payment on account of IT. Payments on account are obligations autonomous from the Annual Income Tax, because the rates, basis of calculation, determination, eligibility, exigibility and times of payment are different, yet at the same time they are obligations related to IT for their exigibility ceases when that of the annual IT begins. | Annually, 40% of corporations raise the salaries of their principal executives |

Ana Hirakawa, a senior consultant at Deloitte, was interviewed by “Gestión” newspaper on the issue of salary raises for the principal executives in companies, and explained that these remunerations cover aspects such as fixed compensations, bonuses and extraordinary bonuses, and are closely related to the good results the high ranking executive may have obtained in his/her company. As part of Deloitte`s global social responsibility initiative called IMPACT Day, over 130 employees from the local subsidiary cooperated in the improvement of infrastructure of the “Mi Nuevo Perú” school located in Manchay, making donations and repairing school furniture. The “Mi Nuevo Perú” school has 251 boys and girls from the initial elementary school grades to 4th. year secondary education. Most pupils comes from poor families, thus they lack the necessary school materials to conduct classes.
